With over 150 years of cumulative experience in the HVAC industry, the CKA sales team represents various manufacturers throughout our Midwest territories of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, West Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, and Kentucky.
Matt began his career with CKA Sales alphabetizing invoices for commissions and producing 3 ring binders for customers. Before Matt was 10 years old his father, Steve Graves, began taking him on sales meetings and introducing him to customers in the industry. After graduating college Matt started CKA Sales down a new path of developing relationships with contractors. Since then CKA has developed relationships with contractors throughout their territories, and have developed an extensive training program for them and distributors, training over 2000 people in 2019. This has helped pull thru sales to distributors and given an unmatched product knowledge to CKA customers.

Verne Maxwell started in the HVAC business in 1984 as a territory manager for Superior Valve. By 1986 he was the Midwest Regional sales Mgr. living in St. Louis, MO. covering 18 States. In 1989 Parker Hannifin approached him about working for them. From 1989-1992 he was a direct salesperson working out of Dallas, TX. In 1992 Parker asked Maxwell to become a Manufactures’ Representative covering OH, PA, WV, MI & KY. Verne started V.A. Maxwell & Assoc., working by himself until 2006. Maxwell then merged with another agency, working there for 9+ years. In 2015 Maxwell was approached by Matt & Steve Graves to join CKA Sales. He accepted the position as VP of Operations and has worked to grow CKA Sales agency from 3 people to 9 people covering the Midwest.

After nearly 12 years in HVAC Dale says, “Without a doubt that I am in the right field. It is mostly what I think about throughout the day other than my family.” With experience in most aspects of the HVAC field including residential, commercial, building management, and industrial service and install Dale has personally used most of the products that CKA represent. He use this knowledge and experience to bring something a little extra to product trainings that is appreciated by the contractors and distributors that he works with. Lynch takes pride in bringing opportunities to the people that he works with and brings creative problem solving skills to the table. Dale goes to great lengths to make sure that he is available to the customers that need him, and when they need him to solve any issues.
John joined the company initially in 2017. He Spent 10 years in the field as a service technician, Field trainer, Branch manager and Building Engineer. John Covered the Kentucky market for 4 years prior to leaving to work for a competitor. He has now returned to cover Michigan for CKA. John has a passion for the HVACR field and continues to focus on learning every day. John is very customer focused with an emphasis on training. Whether you are looking for sales training for your team or technical training for the field John can do both effectively.
I'm Cody Feyock from Johnstown, PA and I currently have 11 years of industry experience. I have been a team member for different wholesale distributors in both inside as well as outside sales positions. I also benefit from a technical background acquired in the field working as a service technician for a mechanical contractor. I get a strong sense of satisfaction working with contractors or wholesalers to make innovative solutions to complex problems. Outside of the office it's rare to find me without a wrench in my hands and am always on the hunt for a new project.
Kristina May, fondly referred to by associates as Kris or KMay, has been humbly serving partners in the PHVAC industry since 2001. In her various roles with both a Manufacturers’ Representative agency as well as a Wholesale Distributor, Kris has found a passion for building enduring relationships by providing attention, knowledge and best solutions- efficiently with unmatched dedication. Kris proudly carries the expertise and values of CKA Sales throughout the state of Indiana in her role as territory manager.
Jon Theiss is a 25-year veteran of HVAC sales and service. He has worked with wholesale distribution, engineered sales, and parts and supplies. He has an extensive background in customer service and is technically adept as well. Jon came to us from a national manufacturer and was previously their National Sales Manager. Jon resides in Erie, PA with his family. When he is not working, you can find him on the golf course or cheering on his son's baseball teams.
Kat began her career in HVAC 18 years ago with a wholesale distributor in Tulsa, OK processing warranties and performing administrative duties. She immediately developed a passion for the industry and helping customers. While attending a training class in 2012, an opportunity came along to move to Ohio and further her career in the wholesale industry. Eventually leading to her role as Branch Manager, opening a new wholesale location in the Columbus market. Over the past 12 years she continues to learn and build relationships in the Ohio market on the wholesale side as well as the dealer and manufacture side of the industry.
Fred serves as a Customer Service Representative for CKA Sales and is our frontline support for order inquiries, pricing, lead times, etc. Prior to CKA Fred served in retail sales, management, and customer service for over 12 years. Fred’s strengths are his integrity, professionalism, and building rapport with his customers. His goal is to provide quality service, effective response times, and one-stop resolutions.
Prior to CKA Sales, 20+ years of accounting and auditing background ranging from governmental, manufacturing and small business. My role as Operations Manager is to support our sales team so they can best serve our customers and manufacturers.
Cayley serves as the Customer Service Manager for CKA Sales. She manages customer relations, warranties, order tracking, quotes/pricing, and general inquiries. Her previous experience in Retail Management has provided her with a focus on effective response time, conflict resolution, and quality service.
